Abstract

ABSTRAK Pemanfaatan limbah daun pisang kepok (Musa acuminate) telah berhasil dilakukan. Daun pisang kepok yang digunakan merupakan limbah pertanian dari lahan pertanian Kabupaten Ciamis. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengeahui kemampuan biomassa daun pisang kepok (Musa acuminate) dalam mengadsorpsi ion logam timbal. Dalam penelitian ini dikaji tentang adsorpsi ion logam Pb2+ pada biomassa daun pisang kepok (Musa acuminate) dengan activator menggunakan natrium hidroksida (NaOH) dan pengaruh pH salah satu faktor dari proses adsorpsi. Pada adsorben awal dilakukan analisis menggunakan X-Ray Fluorescence menunjukan terdapatnya beberapa unsur logam seperti Fe (13,4%) ; Cr (0,17%). Kata kunci : Ion Logam Timbal, Adsorpsi, Daun Pisang Kepok (Musa Acuminate). ABSTRACT The utilization of Kepok banana leaf waste (Musa acuminate) has been successfully carried out. Kepok banana leaves used are agricultural waste from agricultural land in Ciamis Regency. This research was conducted to determine the ability of kepok banana leaf biomass (Musa acuminate) to adsorb lead metal ions. In this study studied the adsorption of Pb2 + metal ions on the biomass of Kepok banana leaves (Musa acuminate) with an activator using sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and the effect of pH as one of the factors of the adsorption process. In the initial adsorbent, analysis using X-Ray Fluorescence showed the presence of several metal elements such as Fe (13.4%); Cr (0.17%).
