Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada akhir 2019 dunia dihadapkan dengan masalah munculnya virus jenis baru yang dikenal dengan sebutan virus corona. Corona viruses (CoV) merupakan bagian dari keluarga virus yang menyebabkan penyakit mulai dari flu hingga penyakit yang lebih berat seperti Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). Penyakit yang disebabkan virus corona, atau dikenal dengan COVID-19 belum pernah diidentifikasi menyerang manusia sebelumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan pengetahuan dengan sikap mahasiswa DIII Analis Kesehatan STIKes Bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya tentang penerapan 3M (Memakai masker, Menjaga jarak, Mencuci tangan). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 118 mahasiswa dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 mahasiswa tingkat III DIII Analis Kesehatan. Data pengetahuan dan sikap responden dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan responden tentang penerapan 3M di era new normal covid-19 sebagian besar dalam kategori baik yaitu sebanyak 22 orang (73,3%). Sikap responden dalam penerapan 3M di era new normal sebagian besar dalam kategori positif yaitu sebanyak 28 orang (93,3%). Uji chi-square tehadap pengetahuan dan sikap reponden menunjukkan nilai p-value = 0,001 (p≤ 0,05). Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap mahasiswa tentang penerapan 3M di era new normal covid-19. Abstract At the end of 2019 the world was faced with the problem of the emergence of a new type of virus known as the corona virus. Corona viruses (CoV) are part of a family of viruses that cause illnesses ranging from the flu to more severe illnesses such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). The disease caused by the corona virus, otherwise known as COVID-19, has never been identified as affecting humans. This research aims to identify the relationship between knowledge and student attitudes DIII Medical Laboratory Technology STIKes Bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya about the application of 3M (wearing a mask, keeping distance, washing hands). This research used a descriptive analytic method with a purposive sampling technique. The population in this research amounted to 118 students with a sample size of 30 students of level III DIII Medical Laboratory Technology. Respondents' knowledge and attitudes were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that the respondents' knowledge about the application of 3M in the new normal covid-19 era was mostly in the good category, as many as 22 people (73,3%). Respondents' attitudes in implementing 3M in the new normal covid-19 era were mostly in the positive category, as many as 28 people (93,3%). The chi-square test of respondents' knowledge and attitudes showed the p-value = 0,001 (p≤ 0,05). From these results it can be concluded that there is a relation between knowledge and student attitudes about the application of 3M in the new normal covid-19 era.
