Abstract

Abstrak Antioksidan merupakan zat yang dapat melindungi sel-sel tubuh dari kerusakan oksidatif, yang biasanya diakibatkan oleh terdapatnya radikal bebas. Daun kirinyuh (Chromolaena odrorata L.) dan daun mareme (Glochidion arborescens Blume.) merupakan tumbuhan yang memiliki aktivitas sebagai antioksidan. Oleh karena itu akan dibuat sediaan granul effervescent yang mempunyai khasiat sebagai antioksidan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membuat serta mengevaluasi fomulasi sediaan granul effervescent dari daun kirinyuh dan daun mareme sebagai antioksidan. Metode pembuatan granul dengan metode granulasi basah. Evaluasi yang dilakukan meliputi uji organoleptik, kadar air, waktu kelarutan, pH sediaan, kompresibilias, waktu alir dan sudut diam. Serta pemeriksaan antioksidan melalui metode DPPH (2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazil) dengan mengukur daya serap pada panjang gelombang 516 nm. Hasil penelitian menunjukan daun kirinyuh dan daun mareme dapat dibuat sediaan granul effervescent, memiliki hasil evaluasi yang baik, serta sediaan mengandung aktivitas sebagai antioksidan. Abstract Antioxidants are substances that can protect body cells from oxidative damage, which is usually caused by the presence of free radicals. Kirinyuh leaves (Chromolaena odrorata L.) and mareme leaves (Glochidion arborescens Blume.) are plants that have antioxidant activity. Therefore, effervescent granule preparations will be made which have antioxidant properties. The purpose of this study was to prepare and evaluate the formulation of effervescent granules from kirinyuh and mareme leaves as antioxidants. The method of making granules with the wet granulation method. The evaluations carried out included organoleptic tests, water content, solubility time, pH of the preparation, compressibility, flow time and angle of repose. As well as examination of antioxidants through the DPPH method (2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazil) by measuring absorption at a wavelength of 516 nm. The results showed that kirinyuh and mareme leaves can be made into effervescent granules, have good evaluation results, and contain antioxidant activity.
