Abstract

Abstrak Debu yang ada ditempat kerja dapat mengganggu kesehatan para pekerjanya, proses pembuatan tepung tapioka dapat menghasilkan debu yang banyak dengan pertikel debu yang kecil sehingga mudah untuk masuk ke pernafasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran paparan debu terhadap kesehatan para pekerja pabrik tepung tapioka “X” di wilayah Manonjaya. Responden yang diambil yaitu pekerja pabrik tepung tapioka dibagian ruang produksi yang berjumlah 20 responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan gambaran kadar debu yang berada diruang produksi pabrik tepung tapioka “X” di wilayah Manonjaya di dapatkan hasil: 2.456 µg/Nm³ / 1 jam. Angka tersebut merupakan angka yang melebihi nilai ambang batas, nilai ambang batas yaitu 230 µg/Nm³ / 24 jam. Keluhan yang banyak dialami oleh pekerja yaitu mengalami sering bersin pada saat bekerja sebanyak 26% dari keluhan kesehatan lainnya. Sebanyak 14 pekerja dari 20 pekerja yang mengalami sering bersin pada saat bekerja. Hal lain yang signifikan dapat mengganggu kesehatan pekerja bisa disebabkan oleh usia, masa kerja, pekerjaan sebelumnya dan kebiasaan merokok. This study aims to determine the description of dust exposure on the health of the "X" tapioca flour factory workers in the Manonjaya area. Respondents taken were tapioca flour factory workers in the production room, totaling 20 respondents. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the description of the dust content in the production room of the tapioca flour factory "X" in the Manonjaya area was obtained: 2,456 µg/Nm³ / 1 hour. This figure is a number that exceeds the threshold value, the threshold value is 230 µg/Nm³ / 24 hours. Complaints that are often experienced by workers are experiencing frequent sneezing at work as much as 26% of other health complaints. A total of 14 workers out of 20 workers who experience frequent sneezing at work.
