Abstract

ABSTRAK Uji Efek Imunomudulator Ekstrak Jamur Lingzhi (Ganoderma lucidum) terhadap Bobot Limfa pada Mencit Putih Galur Swiss Wesbter M. Akmal Maulana Y, Hj. Meti Kusmiati, Rianti Nurpalah. Program Studi D-III Teknologi Laboratorium Medis, Universitas Bakti Tunas Husada Abstrak Imun merupakan sistem pertahanan pada tubuh manusia yang berfungsi untuk menjaga manusia dari benda-benda asing bagi tubuh manusia. Imunomodulator adalah zat atau senyawa yang dapat meningkatkat sistem kekebalan tubuh. Salah satu indikator meningkatnya sistem imun adalah peningkatan bobot limfa. Di Indonesia banyak sekali bahan alam yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai obat alternatif untuk memelihara sistem kekebalan tubuh, diantaranya jamur lingzhi (Ganoderma lucidum). Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat efek imunomodulator ekstrak jamur Lingzi terhadap bobot limfa yang diberikan pada mencit jantan galur swiss webster dengan konsentrasi 5.6 mg/20gr BB mencit, 11.2 mg/20gr BB mencit, 16.8 mg/20gr BB mencit. Metodologi penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental laboratorik dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) menggunakan desain post test control group desain, populasi sampel yang diambil yaitu 25 ekor mencit yang sesuai kriteria. Pengambilan data didapat dari pemeriksaan bobot limfa pada mencit menggunakan neraca analitik yang dilakukan sesudah perlakuan pemberian ekstrak jamur lingzhi selama 6 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada dosis 3 konsentrasi 16.8 mg/20gr BB mencit efektif untuk meningkatkan bobot limfa pada mencit (melebihi kontrol positif). Kata Kunci : Imunomodulator, bobot limfa, jamur lingzhi Abstract Immune is a defense system in the human body that functions to protect humans from foreign objects to the human body. Immunomodulators are substances or compounds that can increase the immune system. One indicator of an increased immune system is an increase in spleen weight. In Indonesia, there are many natural ingredients that can be used as alternative medicine to maintain the immune system, including the lingzhi mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum). The purpose of this study was to examine the immunomodulatory effect of Lingzi mushroom extract on spleen weight given to swiss webster male mice with a concentration of 5.6 mg/20gr body weight mice, 11.2 mg/20gr body weight mice, 16.8 mg/20gr body weight mice. The methodology of this research is experimental laboratory with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) using a post test control group design, the sample population taken is 25 mice that meet the criteria. Data collection was obtained from the examination of spleen weight in mice using an analytical balance which was carried out after treatment with lingzhi mushroom extract for 6 days. The results showed that at dose 3 the concentration of 16.8 mg/20gr body weight in mice was effective in increasing the weight of the spleen in mice (exceeding positive controls).
