Abstract
ABSTRAK POTENSI EKSTRAK ETANOL 70% KULIT PISANG TONGKA LANGIT (Musa troglodytarum L) SEBAGAI HEPATOPROTEKTOR Della Chyntia N I Fakultas Farmasi, Universitas Bakti Tunas Husada, Jl. Letjen Mashudi No. 20, Cibeureum, Tasikmalaya, Indonesia Hepatoprotektor adalah senyawa yang melindungi sel-sel hati dari pengaruh zat toksik, yaitu antioksidan. Kulit pisang tongka langit (Musa troglodyatrum L) mengandung flavonoid, tanin, triterpenoid, dan saponin yang berpotensi sebagai antioksidan. Terdapat penelitian tentang potensi sebagai antidiabetes dan menurunkan persentase parasitemia. Potensi sebagai hepatoprotektor belum diketahui, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi dari ekstrak etanol kulit pisang tongka langit sebagai hepatoprotektor serta dosis terbaik pada tikus galur Sprague dawley. Hewan uji 30 ekor dibagi 6 kelompok. Kelompok normal diberi sediaan Na CMC 0,5%, kontrol positif diberi curliv-plus 65,5mg/200g BB, kelompok 4,5,6 diberi ekstrak etanol kulit pisang tongka langit dosis 100mg/200g BB, 150mg/200g BB, 200mg/200g BB, setelah satu jam diinduksi parasetamol 200mg/200g BB juga kontrol negatif. Pengujian dilakukan selama 7 hari. Analisis kadar SGPT dan SGOT dilakukan pada hari ke-8. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol kulit pisang tongka langit memiliki potensi sebagai hepatoprotektor dengan dosis 150mg/200g BB, berdasarkan analisis kadar SGPT dan SGOT, dan histopatologi tidak ada perbedaan signifikan antara kontrol positif dan dosis uji dua, dengan pesentase aktivitas ekstrak terhadap kadar SGPT 25% dan SGOT 19%. Kata kunci: Hepatoprotektor, Musa troglodyatrum L., Hati, SGOT, SGPT. ABSTRACT Hepatoprotectors are compounds that protect liver cells from the effects of toxic substances, namely antioxidants. The skin of banana tongka langit (Musa troglodyatrum L) contains flavonoids, tannins, triterpenoids, and saponins that have potential as antioxidants. There are studies on the potential as antidiabetics and reducing the percentage of parasitemia. The potential as a hepatoprotector is not yet known, so this study aims to determine the potential of ethanol extract of banana skin tongka langit as a hepatoprotector and the best dose in Sprague Dawley rats. 30 test animals were divided into 6 groups. The normal group was given 0.5% Na CMC preparation, the positive control was given curliv-plus 65.5mg/200g BW, groups 4,5,6 were given ethanol extract of banana peel tongka langit doses of 100mg/200g BW, 150mg/200g BW, 200mg/200g BW, after one hour induced paracetamol 200mg/200g BW as well as negative control. Testing was carried out for 7 days. Observation of SGPT and SGOT levels and organ index was done on the 8th day. The results showed that ethanol extract of banana peel tongka langit has the potential as a hepatoprotector at a dose of 150mg/200g BW, based on statistical analysis of organ index, SGPT and SGOT levels there is no significant difference between positive control and two test doses, and has a percentage of SGPT activity 25% and SGOT 19%.
