Abstract

Abstrak Validasi metode merupakan proses penilaian metode dengan parameter yang telah ditentukan untuk memastikan prosedur yang digunakan dapat memenuhi standar dengan nilai yang dapat diterima. Asam salisilat merupakan asam organik sederhana yang memiliki spektrum kerja beragam yaitu analgesik, antipiretik dan antirematik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil validasi metode pemeriksaan asam salisilat dengan pereaksi FeCl3 1% menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif untuk menggambarkan hasil validitas suatu metode pemeriksaan asam salisilat dengan pereaksi FeCl3 1% berdasarkan 5 parameter pemeriksaan yaitu presisi, akurasi, linearitas, LoD, dan LoQ. Hasil penelitian didapatkan persamaan regresi linear yaitu y=0,0224x + 0,0265 dengan R2 0,9971 dengan r hitung 0,9986, akurasi 0,19319% <2% dengan %recovery 98,0681%, presisi 2,8985% <5%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa akurasi, presisi dan linearitas telah memenuhi standar validitas dengan nilai LoD 1,0276 ppm dan LoQ 3,4252 ppm. Kata Kunci: Validasi, Asam Salisilat, FeCl3, Spektrofotometer UV-Vis Abstract Method validation is the process of evaluating a method with predetermined parameters to ensure that the procedures used meetstandards with acceptable values. Salicylic acid is a simple organic acid that has a wide spectrum of action, namely analgesic, antipyretic and antirheumatic. This study aims to determine the validation results of the salicylic acid examination method with 1% FeCl3 reagent using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The research method used is descriptive to describe the results of the validity of a salicylic acid examination method with 1% FeCl3 reagent based on 5 examination parameters namely precision, accuracy, linearity, LoD, and LoQ. The results showed that the linear regression equation was y = 0.0224x + 0.0265 with R2 0.9971 with r count 0.9986, accuracy 0.19319% <2% with %recovery 98.0681%, precision 2.8985% < 5%, so it can be concluded that accuracy, precision and linearity have met the standards validity with a LoD value of 1,0276 ppm and a LoQ of 3,4252 ppm.
