Abstract

Formulasi Dan Evaluasi Sediaan Gel Topikal Ekstrak Etanol Akar Gobo (Arctium lappa L.) sebagai Anti Acne Fitra Arif Maulana Yusuf S1 Farmasi, Universitas Bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya Abstrak Jerawat adalah penyakit kulit yang disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, seperti infeksi bakteri, hormon, genetik, dan gaya hidup. Pengobatan saat ini menggunakan antibiotik dan antiinflamasi, namun resistensi antibiotik menjadi kekhawatiran, sehingga bahan alami dapat menjadi alternatif. Akar tanaman gobo memiliki aktivitas antibakteri, antiinflamasi, dan antioksidan, sehingga berpotensi sebagai antijerawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjadikan akar gobo sebagai zat aktif antijerawat dalam gel topikal. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ekstraksi, karakterisasi ekstrak, optimasi basis gel, optimasi formula, evaluasi, dan uji kesukaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua formula F1 (0,5%), F2 (1%), F3 (1,5%) memenuhi syarat evaluasi, dengan F3 (1,5%) paling disukai berdasarkan uji hedonik. Kata Kunci : Akar gobo, Gel topikal, Antijerawat Abstract Acne is a skin disease caused by various factors, such as bacterial infections, hormones, genetics and lifestyle. Current treatment uses antibiotics and anti-inflammatories, but antibiotic resistance is a concern, so natural ingredients can be an alternative. The roots of the gobo plant have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity, so they have potential as an anti-acne agent. This research aims to make gobo root an active anti-acne substance in a topical gel. The methods used include extraction, extract characterization, gel base optimization, formula optimization, evaluation and preference test. The results showed that all formulas F1 (0.5%), F2 (1%), F3 (1.5%) met the evaluation requirements, with F3 (1.5%) being the most preferred based on the hedonic test.
