Abstract

PROGRAM STUDI DIII ANALIS KESEHATAN FAKULTAS ILMU KESEHATAN UNIVERSITAS BAKTI TUNAS HUSADA TASIKMALAYA Karya Tulis Ilmiah, Juli 2024 Alsya Latisa Doubletrap mosquito adalah alat yang dimodifikasi dengan menggabungkan alat ovitrap dan alat gravitrap. Sehingga dalam satu alat dapat memiliki dua fungsi, yaitu sebagai perangkap telur dan nyamuk dewasa. Pada alat ini terdapat penambahan temephos sebagai larvasida serta penambahan atraktan 0,83% sebagai penarik nyamuk dewasa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persentase index ovitrap serta untuk mengetahui kategori level index ovitrap pada alat modifikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, yaitu metode yang bertujuan untuk menguji suatu alat yang telah dimodifikasi. Jumlah alat yang terpasang adalah 100 alat uji dan 100 alat kontrol yang diletakan pada 100 rumah di Kampung Sindangsuka, Kota Tasikmalaya. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukkan secara purposive sampling, artinya peneliti mengambil sampel sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi sampel. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh Index Ovitrap (OI) pada alat uji sebesar 62% (Level 4), sedangkan OI pada kontrol adalah 12% (Level 2). Jenis telur yang diperoleh adalah Aedes sp dan Culex sp. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah alat doubletrap mosquito yang menggunakan atraktan rendaman jerami 0,83% lebih efektif dalam memerangkap nyamuk untuk bertelur dibandingkan dengan alat kontrol. Kata Kunci : Doubletrap mosquito, Atraktan, Aedes sp, Culex sp The doubletrap mosquito is a modified tool by combining an ovitrap and a gravitrap. Therefore, one tool can have two functions, namely as a trap for eggs and adult mosquitoes. In this tool, there is the addition of temephos as a larvicide and the addition of 0.83% attractant as an attractant for adult mosquitoes. The aim of this research is to determine the percentage of the ovitrap index and the category of ovitrap index level on the modification tool. This research uses an experimental method, namely a method that aims to test a tool that has been modified. The number of equipment installed was 100 test pieces and 100 control devices placed in 100 houses in Sindangsuka Village, Tasikmalaya City. The sampling technique was carried out using purposive sampling, meaning that the researcher took samples according to the sample inclusion criteria. In this study, the Ovitrap Index (OI) on the test equipment was 62% (Level 4), while the OI on the control was 12% (Level 2). The types of eggs obtained were Aedes sp and Culex sp. The conclusion of this research is that a doubletrap mosquito using attractants soaked in straw is 0.83% more effective in trapping mosquitoes to lay eggs compared to the control device.
