Abstract
Kata Kunci : Doubletrap mosquito, Atraktan, Aedes sp, Culex sp Abstract Doubletrap mosquito is a modified tool resulting from combining the ovitrap and gravitrap tools with the addition of 0.83% attractant. The addition of this attractant attracts the sense of smell of mosquitoes that will lay eggs. The aim of this research is to determine the number and type of eggs trapped in the doublertrap mosquito modification tool and to determine whether there are significant differences between the test and control tools. The research was carried out using two tools, namely test and control tools, where the test tool contained 0.83% attractant and abate, while the control tool contained well water and abate only. This tool was stored for 14 days in the homes of residents of Sindang Suka Village, RW 09, Gunung Gede Village, Tasikmalaya City, Kawalu District, precisely at RT 01, RT 02 and RT 03. The sampling technique was positive sampling. The results of the research showed that there were 8,002 eggs in the test equipment and control equipment totaling 746 eggs, of which from the 200 modified test and control equipment installed there were 62 test equipment and 12 positive control equipment. The types of eggs obtained from all tools were Aedes sp and Culex sp eggs. The results of statistical tests using the Mann-Withney test obtained a p-value of 0.000 < 0.005, which means that there was a significant difference between the test equipment and the control equipment.
