Abstract

ABSTRAK PERBANDINGAN HASIL PEMERIKSAAN INDEKS ERITROSIT MENGGUNAKAN TABUNG VAKUM K₃EDTA DENGAN TABUNG VAKUM NATRIUM SITRAT Annisa Nurussiami Prodi D-III Analis Kesehatan/TLM, Universitas Bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya Abstrak Indeks eritrosit merupakan kuantifikasi ukuran dan kandungan hemoglobin dalam sel darah merah (eritrosit). Hasil dari pemeriksaan ini memberikan informasi mengenai Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV), yang mengukur ukuran rata-rata eritrosit, Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin (MCH), dan Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration (MCHC). Antikoagulan dalam tabung K3EDTA efektif menghambat pembentukan trombin dan fibrin, sedangkan antikoagulan dalam tabung natrium sitrat mencegah aktivasi faktor koagulasi serta pembentukan trombin dan fibrin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi perbedaan hasil pemeriksaan indeks eritrosit antara penggunaan tabung vakum K3EDTA dan tabung vakum natrium sitrat. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan metode eksperimental. Pemeriksan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat hematology analyzer Rayto RT-7600. Data pemeriksaan indeks eritrosit diperoleh sebanyak 20 sampel. Pada penelitian ini terdapat perbedaan indeks eritrosit menggunakan tabung natrium sitrat lebih rendah dibandingkan tabung K3EDTA, terdapat perbedaan MCV pada penggunaan tabung vakum Natrium Sitrat dengan selisih 0,9 fL (1,1%) lebih rendah dari tabung vakum K3EDTA, untuk pemeriksaan MCH dengan penggunaan tabung vakum Natrium Sitrat terdapat selisih 0,9 pg (3,0%) lebih rendah dibanding tabung vakum K3EDTA, untuk pemeriksaan MCHC dengan penggunaan tabung vakum Natrium Sitrat terdapat selisih 0,8% (2,3%) lebih rendah dibanding tabung vakum K3EDTA. Kata Kunci : Indeks Eritrosit, Tabung Vakum K3EDTA, Tabung Vakum Natrium Sitrat Abstract The erythrocyte index is a quantification of the size and content of hemoglobin in red blood cells (erythrocytes). The results of this examination provide information regarding the Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV), which measures the average size of erythrocytes, Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin (MCH), and Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration (MCHC). Anticoagulants in K3EDTA tubes are effective in inhibiting the formation of thrombin and fibrin, while anticoagulants in sodium citrate tubes prevent the activation of coagulation factors as well as the formation of thrombin and fibrin. This study aims to evaluate the difference in erythrocyte index examination results between the use of K3EDTA vacuum tubes and sodium citrate vacuum tubes. This research is descriptive with an experimental method. This examination was carried out using the Rayto RT-7600 hematology analyzer. Erythrocyte index examination data was obtained from 20 samples. In this study, there was a difference in erythrocyte index using sodium citrate tubes lower than K3EDTA tubes, there was a difference in MCV in the use of sodium citrate vacuum tubes with a difference of 0.9 fL (1.1%) lower than K3EDTA vacuum tubes, for MCH examination with the use of sodium citrate vacuum tubes there was a difference of 0.9 pg (3.0%) lower than K3EDTA vacuum tubes, for MCHC examination with the use of Sodium Citrate vacuum tube, there was a difference of 0.8% (2.3%) lower than that of K3EDTA vacuum tube.
