Abstract

PROGRAM STUDI S1 FARMASI FAKULTAS FARMASI Skripsi, Juni 2024 Riyadhini Solihati Pendahuluan: Daun kelor, daun kecombrang, daun sirsak, dan daun salam dapat dijadikan sebagai obat herbal salah satunya untuk diabetes melitus. Tujuan: Penelitian ini untuk mekanisme kerja kombinasi rebusan daun kelor, daun kecombrang, daun sirsak, dan daun salam terhadap SGLT-2 Inhibitor pada mencit diabetes. Metode: Empat jenis daun dikombinasikan dan direbus, kemudian diberikan secara oral kepada mencit jantan selama 7 hari. Setelah itu, pengukuran kadar glukosa urin dilakukan menggunakan fotometer. Mencit dibagi menjadi enam kelompok (normal, kontrol negatif, kontrol positif, dosis 1, dosis 2 maupun dosis 3), di mana setiap kelompok terdiri dari empat ekor mencit untuk pengukuran kadar glukosa urin. Hasil dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik SPSS versi 25 ialah uji Oneway Anova. Hasil: Dari penelitian diperoleh efektivitas kombinasi rebusan pada daun kelor, daun kecombrang, daun sirsak dan daun salam tidak memiliki mekanisme kerja sebagai SGLT-2. Kesimpulan: Dari hasil penelitian, kesimpulan kombinasi rebusan daun kelor, kecombrang sirsak, dan salam tidak memiliki mekanisme kerja sebagai SGLT-2 Inhibitor pada mencit diabetes. Kata kunci: Diabetes mellitus, Kombinasi rebusan, SGLT-2 inhibitor. Introduction: Moringa leaves, kecombrang leaves, soursop leaves and bay leaves can be used as herbal medicines, one of which is for diabetes mellitus. Objective: This research examines the mechanism of action of a combination of boiled Moringa leaves, kecombrang leaves, soursop leaves and bay leaves on SGLT-2 inhibitors in diabetic mice. Method: Four types of leaves were combined and boiled, then given orally to male mice for 7 days. After that, urine glucose levels were measured using a photometer. Mice were divided into six groups (normal, negative control, positive control, dose 1, dose 2 or dose 3), where each group consisted of four mice for measuring urine glucose levels. The results were analyzed using the SPSS version 25 statistical test, namely the Oneway Anova test. Results: The study showed that the effectiveness of the combination of decoctions on Moringa leaves, kecombrang leaves, soursop leaves and bay leaves does not have a working mechanism as SGLT-2. Conclusion: From the research results, it is concluded that the combination of boiled Moringa leaves, soursop kecombrang, and bay leaves does not have a working mechanism as an SGLT-2 inhibitor in diabetic mice.
