Abstract

Fikri Ardika, Hendro Kasmanto, Dina Ferdiani DIII ANALIS KESEHATAN, UNIVERSITAS BAKTI TUNAS HUSADA Abstrak Hipertensi merupakan kondisi ketika tekanan darah melebihi batas normal, sistolik lebih dari 140 mmHg dan diastolik lebih dari 90 mmHg. Kolesterol merupakan zat lemak darah yang diproduksi oleh hati yang berfungsi untuk menjalankan fungsi organ – organ seperti pembuatan hormon, pembuatan dinding sel, dan proteksi ujung – ujung saraf. Kadar kolesterol tinggi dapat menyebabkan penyumbatan pembuluh darah yang dapat beresiko terjadinya hipertensi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar kolesterol total pada penderita hipertensi di Dusun Golempang Kabupaten Pangandaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 25 orang didapatkan dengan total sampling dengan metode pemeriksaan CHOD PAP. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan 52% responden (13 orang) mengalami hiperkolesterolemi, dan 48% responden (12 orang) dengan hasil normal. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penderita hipertensi tidak selalu hiperkolesterolemi dan pada penelitian ini sedikit didominasi oleh hiperkolesterolemi. Kata Kunci : Penderita Hipertensi, Kadar Kolesterol Abstract Hypertension is a condition when blood pressure exceeds normal limits, systolic more than 140 mmHg and diastolic more than 90 mmHg. Cholesterol is a blood fat produced by the liver which functions to carry out organ functions such as making hormones, making cell walls, and protecting nerve endings. High cholesterol levels can cause blockages in blood vessels which can lead to hypertension. The aim of this study was to determine the description of total cholesterol levels in hypertension sufferers in Golempang Hamlet, Pangandaran Regency. This type of research is descriptive research with a sample size of 25 people obtained by total sampling using the CHOD PAP examination method. Based on the results of this study, it was found that 52% of respondents (13 people) experienced hypercholesterolemia, and 48% of respondents (12 people) had normal results. From this study, it can be concluded that hypertension sufferers are not always hypercholesterolemic and in this study hypercholesterolemia was slightly dominated.
