Abstract

ABSTRAK PENERAPAN PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN DIET RENDAH PURIN PADA KELUARGA DENGAN PENDERITA ASAM URAT DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS KARSANEGARA KOTA TASIKMALAYA Bella Mustica Surahman Pragram Studi DIII Keperawatan Universitas Bakti Tunas Husada Pendahuluan: Penyakit Asam urat, merupakan penyakit yang banyak di temukan terutama di Indonesia, Asam urat ini merupakan penyakit yang di sebabkan oleh adanya penumpukan kristal Asam urat pada sendi, kondisi ini dapat terjadi pada sendi mana pun, salah satu cara untuk mengatasi penyakit Asam urat ini yaitu dengan diet rendah purin, agar jumlah purin dalam tubuh dapat terkontrol. Tujuan: penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran penerapan pendidikan diet pada keluarga dengan penyakit Asam urat pada dua responden. Metode: penelitian yang di gunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil: kedua keluarga mampu menerapkan diet rendah purin dengan perbedaan karakteristi pendidikan dan pekerjaan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini pendidikan kesehatan sangat berpengaruh pada penerapan diet rendah purin. Saran: diharapkan masyarakat lebih banyak mencari informasi khususnya bagi keluarga dengan penderita Asam urat tentang diet rendah purin sebagai salah satu cara penanganan kadar Asam urat yang tinggi. Kata kunci : Diet rendah purin, Asam urat, Keluarga ABSTRACT Introduction: Gout, is a disease that is often found, especially in Indonesia, gout is a disease caused by the accumulation of uric acid crystals in the joints, this condition can occur in any joint, one way to treat gout This is a low purine diet, so that the amount of purine in the body can be controlled. Objective: This research is to find out an overview of the application of diet education in families with gout in two respondents. Method: The research used is a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Results: both families were able to implement a low purine diet with differences in educational and occupational characteristics. The conclusion from this research is that health education greatly influences the implementation of a low purine diet. Suggestion: It is hoped that the public will seek more information, especially for families with gout sufferers, about a low purine diet as a way to treat high uric acid levels.
