Abstract

PROGRAM STUDI DIII KEPERAWATAN FAKULTAS ILMU KESEHATAN UNIVERSITAS BAKTI TUNAS HUSADA TASIKMALAYA Karya Tulis Ilmiah, September 2024 Fahrul Rizki Febrian Penerapan Strategi Koping Pada Pasien Penderita Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kota Tasikmalaya Abstrak Diabetes Melitus (DM) merupakan penyakit metabolik yang ditandai dengan peningkatan kadar glukosa darah (hiperglikemia) yang terjadi akibat kelainan sekresi insulin, dan kerja insulin. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan strategi koping pada pasien penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 di wilayah kerja puskesmas cihideung kota tasikmalaya. Metode Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, subyek penelitian 3 responden dengan 3 hari. Instrument yang di gunakan adalah Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) afirmasi emotional focused coping, alat cek gula darah, dan Teknik pengumpulan data kuesioner brief cope. Hasil didapatkan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan penerapan strategi koping terdapat perbedaan hasil yang signifikan antara sebelum & pada ketiga responden. Kata kunci : Diabetes Melitus, Strategi Koping Abstract Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disease characterized by increased blood glucose levels (hyperglycemia) that occurs due to abnormalities in insulin secretion and insulin function. This study aims to determine the application of coping strategies in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the work area of the Cihideung Health Center in Tasikmalaya City. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, the research subjects are 3 respondents with 3 days. The instruments used are the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for emotional focused coping affirmations, blood sugar check tools, and brief cope questionnaire data collection techniques. The results obtained before and after the application of coping strategies showed significant differences in results between before and in the three respondents.
