Abstract

Penerapan Teknik Relaksasi Benson pada Pasien Gastritis dengan Masalah Nyeri Akut di Klinik IMC Cisayong Kabupaten Tasikmalaya Najla Aulia Sabira Program Studi DIII Keperawatan Univertas Bakti Tunas Husada Latar Belakang: Gastritis atau tukak lambung adalah peradangan pada lapisan lambung yang disebabkan oleh iritasi serta infeksi yang mengakibatkan adanya nyeri. Teknik relaksasi Benson adalah teknik nonfarmakologis yang dapat digunakan untuk mengontrol nyeri. Tujuan: Karya Tulis Ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan skala nyeri pada pasien Gastritis sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan tindakan terapi relaksasi Benson. Metode: Studi kasus ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subyek dalam studi kasus ini adalah 2 responden yang dirawat selama 3 hari. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) relaksasi Benson dan pengukuran nyeri menggunakan Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Hasil: Setelah dilakukan intervensi relaksasi Benson selama 3 hari berturut-turut, ditemukan hasil sebagai berikut yaitu responden 1, hari pertama skala nyeri dari 5 menjadi 2 setelah intervensi, hari kedua, skala nyeri dari 6 menjadi 3 setelah intervensi, dan hari ketiga,skala nyeri dari 4 menjadi 2 setelah intervensi. Sedangkan responden 2 hari pertama skala nyeri dari 4 menjadi 3 setelah intervensi. Hari kedua: skala nyeri dari 5 menjadi 3 setelah intervensi. Hari ketiga skala nyeri dari 5 menjadi 2 setelah intervensi. Kesimpulan: Pemberian terapi relaksasi Benson mampu menurunkan skala nyeri pada pasien Gastritis dengan nyeri akut. Kata kunci : Gastritis, Nyeri Akut, Relaksasi benson ABSTRACT Background Gastritis or gastric ulcer is an inflammation of the stomach lining caused by irritation and infection that results in pain. Benson relaxation technique is a nonpharmacological technique in controlling pain. The purpose of this scientific paper is to determine. The results of the pain scale with gastritis patients before and after the action of Benson relaxation therapy. The method in this case study uses a descriptive method with a case study approach, the subjects of this case study are 2 respondents with a case study duration of 3 days of treatment. The instrument used is Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Benson relaxation and data collection techniques using numeric rating scale (NRS). The results after the Benson relaxation intervention for 3 consecutive days found the results in respondent 1 before the benson relaxation on the first day was 5, after the intervention was 2, the second day was 6, after the intervention was 3, and the third day was 4 to 2. Meanwhile, in respondent 2, the results were obtained before and after the application of benson relaxation therapy. Before the benson relaxation on the first dy was 4 and after the intervention was 3, the second day was 5, after the intervention was 3 and the third day was 5, after the intervention was 2. So in gastritis patients, there is a decrease in the pain scale for both respondents. Conclusion The provision of benson relaxation therapy is able to reduce the pain scale in gastritis patients with acute pain. Recommendations are aimed at institutions and the nursing profession are expected to apply benson relaxation therapy to control pain. Keywords : Acute Pain, Benson Relaxation, Gastritis
