Abstract

Abstrak : Diabetes Melitus merupakan penyakit metabolik, dimana pancreas tidak dapat menghasilkan cukup insulin, salah satu komplikasinya adalah bisa terjadinya ulkus pada penderita DM. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dengan subyek 2 responden dengan waktu penelitian 3 hari perawatan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) perawatan luka, serta teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan selama 3 hari didapat 2 responden dengan karakteristik luka yang berbeda dan setelah dilakukan tindakan perawatan luka kedua responden mendapati hasil yang berbeda juga. Kedua responden memiliki luka yang berbeda dan ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi proses penyembuhan luka dari kedua responden, salah satu dari kedua responden mendapatkan luka yang membaik dan menunjukkan terjadi proses penyembuhan luka. Dan diharapkan keluarga dapat melakukan perawatan luka secara mandiri untuk merawat anggota keluarga yang mengalami ulkus diabetikum. Kata Kunci: Diabetes Melitus, Perawatan Luka, Ulkus Diabetikum Abstract Abstrack : Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disease, where the pancreas cannot produce enough insulin, one of the complications is that ulcers can occur in DM sufferers. Research Objective: To determine the patient's response, wound condition, and description of skin and tissue integrity before and after wound treatment at RSUD dr. Soekardjo. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach with 2 respondents as the subject and a research time of 3 treatment days. The instruments used were Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for wound care, as well as data collection techniques using observation sheets. Results: Based on the results of research conducted over 3 days, 2 respondents found different wound characteristics and after carrying out wound care measures, the two respondents also found different results. The two respondents had different wounds and there were several factors that influenced the wound healing process for the two respondents, one of the two respondents had a wound that improved and showed that the wound healing process was occurring. Suggestion it is hoped that families can carry out wound care independently to care for family members who experience diabetic ulcers. Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus, Wound Care, Diabetic Ulcers
