Abstract

PROGRAM STUDI DIII KEPERAWATAN FAKULTAS ILMU KESEHATAN UNIVERSITAS BAKTI TUNAS HUSADA TASIKMALAYA KARYA TULIS ILMIAH, SEPTEMBER 2024 Dini Apriliani Post Sectio Caesarea merupakan periode setelah melahirkan bayi dan plasenta pada ibu yang melahirkan melalui persalinan SC. Masalah keperawatan utama pada ibu post SC adalah nyeri akut dan gangguan pola tidur. Penatalaksanaan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut salah satunya adalah hand and foot massage. Tujuan studi kasus ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi penerapan hand and foot massage pada ibu post SC. Desain penelitian menggunakan studi kasus dengan subyek sebanyak 2 orang, pengambilan data selama 3 hari. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah SOP hand and foot massage. Teknik pengambilan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan pengukuran biofisiologis. Analisis data secara deskriptif naratif. Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan sebelum dilakukan hand and foot massage skala nyeri kedua subyek berada di skala 5-6 (nyeri sedang), tampak meringis, adanya ketegangan otot, sikap protektif, tampak gelisah, dan istirahat/tidur terganggu, tekanan darah, frekuensi nadi, dan frekuensi napas dalam rentang normal. Setelah penerapan hand and foot massage skala nyeri berkurang menjadi 1-2 (nyeri ringan), meringis menurun, ketegangan otot menurun, sikap protektif menurun, kualitas tidur meningkat, tekanan darah, frekuensi nadi, dan frekuensi napas dalam rentang nromal. Kesimpulan studi kasus ini adalah terdapat perubahan tingkat nyeri dan kualitas tidur. Ibu post SC dianjurkan untuk melakukan hand and foot massage secara mandiri atau dibantu agar dapat mengurangi nyeri dan gangguan pola tidur. Kata Kunci : Hand and foot massage, Post Sectio Caesarea ABSTRACT Post Sectio Caesarea is the period after delivery a baby and placenta on the women had SC delivery. The main nursing problems in post SC women are acute pain and sleep pattern disorders. One of the treatments that can be perform to overcome these problems is hand and foot massage. The purpose of this case study was to identify the application of hand and foot massage to post-SC women. The research design used a case study with 2 subjects, data collection for 3 days. The instrument used the SOP for hand and foot massage. Data collection techniques were interviews, observations, and biophysiological measurements. Data analysis was descriptive narrative. The results showed that before hand and foot massage, the pain scale of both subjects was on a scale of 5-6 (moderate pain), they appeared to be grimacing, there was muscle tension, a protective attitude, they appeared restless, and their rest/sleep was disturbed, blood pressure, pulse rate, and breathing rate were within the normal range. After the application of hand and foot massage the pain scale decreased to 1-2 (mild pain), grimacing decreased, muscle tension decreased, protective attitudes decreased, sleep quality increased, blood pressure, pulse rate, and respiratory rate were within the normal range. The conclusion of this case study is that there are changes in pain levels and sleep quality. Post-SC women are advised to perform hand and foot massage independently or with assistance in order to reduce pain and sleep pattern disorders. Keywords : Hand And Foot Massage, Sectio Caesarea
