ABSTRAK Uji Ekfektivitas Pada Sabun Padat Yang Di Perkaya Oleh VCO Dengan Ekstrak Daun Jeruk Limau (Citrus x amblycarpa) Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bakteri Staphylococcus aureus Effectiveness Test of Solid Soap Enriched with VCO with Lime Leaf Extract (Citrus x amblycarpa) Against the Growth of Staphylococcus aureus Bacteria Iqbal Fauzan Ramadhan Program Studi DIII Analis Kesehatan Universitas Bakti Tunas Husada Abstrak Sabun merupakan produk pembersih yang banyak digunakan masyarakat. Formulasi sabun dengan bahan alami dapat meningkatkan manfaatnya, salah satunya dengan penambahan Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) yang memiliki sifat antimikroba dan ekstrak daun jeruk limau (Citrus x amblycarpa) yang mengandung flavonoid, tanin, saponin, serta polifenol sebagai senyawa antibakteri. Bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dikenal sebagai patogen penyebab infeksi kulit, sehingga diperlukan alternatif pencegahan melalui sabun berbahan alami. Penelitian ini menguji efektivitas sabun padat berbahan VCO yang diperkaya ekstrak daun jeruk limau terhadap Staphylococcus aureus. Uji difusi cakram menunjukkan sabun dengan ekstrak menghasilkan zona hambat rata-rata 17 mm, lebih besar dibanding sabun tanpa ekstrak yaitu 15 mm. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa ekstrak daun jeruk limau meningkatkan efektivitas antibakteri sabun. Sabun padat berbahan VCO dengan ekstrak daun jeruk limau berpotensi sebagai pembersih alami dengan aktivitas antibakteri yang efektif. Formulating soap with natural ingredients can enhance its benefits, including the addition of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO), which has antimicrobial properties, and lime leaf extract (Citrus x amblycarpa), which contains flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and polyphenols, which act as antibacterial compounds. Staphylococcus aureus is a known pathogen that causes skin infections, necessitating a preventative alternative using natural soaps. This study tested the effectiveness of solid soap made from VCO enriched with lime leaf extract against Staphylococcus aureus. Disc diffusion tests showed that soap with the extract produced an average inhibition zone of 17 mm, larger than soap without the extract, which was 15 mm. These results demonstrate that lime leaf extract enhances the soap's antibacterial effectiveness. Solid soap made from VCO with lime leaf extract has the potential to be a natural cleanser with effective antibacterial activity. Keywords: solid soap, VCO, lime leaf, Staphylococcus aureus
