Abstract

ABSTRAK Uji Kualitas Mikrobiologi Depot Air Minum Isi Ulang Menggunakan Metode Membran Filter di Kecamatan Cipedes Kota Tasikmalaya Muhamad Zaidaan Ghiparil Malik, Rochmanah Suhartati M.Si, Annisa Nur Hasanah M.Kes (Program Studi D-III Analis Kesehatan/TLM, Universitas Bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya) Abstrak Air minum yang aman dan bersih merupakan kebutuhan dasar manusia. Namun, kualitas air minum sering kali terancam oleh kontaminasi bakteri, termasuk Escherichia coli (E. coli). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas mikrobiologi air minum isi ulang di Kecamatan Cipedes, Kota Tasikmalaya, dengan fokus pada keberadaan bakteri Coliform dan Escherichia coli. Hasil pengujian sebanyak 10 sampel dari berbagai depot dianalisis menggunakan metode membran filter dan media Compact Dry EC. Menunjukkan bahwa 5 sampel (50%) tidak memenuhi standar mikrobiologi sesuai Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan No. 2 Tahun 2023 karena terdeteksi mengandung Coliform dan E. coli. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengawasan rutin terhadap kualitas air, sanitasi depot, dan sumber air yang digunakan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi dasar perbaikan mutu air minum isi ulang demi menjamin kesehatan masyarakat. Kata kunci: Air minum isi ulang, Escherichia coli, Coliform, membrane filter, Compact Dry EC. Abstract Safe and clean drinking water is a fundamental human need. However, its quality is often threatened by bacterial contamination, including Escherichia coli (E. coli). This study aims to evaluate the microbiological quality of refill drinking water in Cipedes District, Tasikmalaya City, with a focus on the presence of Coliform and Escherichia coli bacteria. A total of 10 samples from various refill depots were analyzed using the membrane filter method and Compact Dry EC media. The results showed that 5 samples (50%) did not meet the microbiological standards as stipulated in the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 2 of 2023 due to the detection of Coliform and E. coli. These findings highlight the importance of regular monitoring of water quality, depot sanitation, and the sources of water used. The conclusion of this study is expected to serve as a basis for improving the quality of refill drinking water to ensure public health.
