Abstract

ABSTRACT Hypertension is a non-communicable disease requiring rational antihypertensive therapy to prevent cardiovascular complications. This study aimed to determine the appropriateness of antihypertensive drug use among outpatients at Ciamis Regional General Hospital during January–June 2025 based on the InaSH 2024 and AHA/ACC 2025 guidelines. This retrospective descriptive observational study involved 149 patients. The results showed that all patients received amlodipine as monotherapy. The appropriateness of indication, drug selection, and dosage reached 100%, while the appropriateness of patient parameter could not be evaluated due to incomplete clinical data in medical records. ABSTRAK Hipertensi merupakan penyakit tidak menular yang memerlukan terapi antihipertensi secara rasional untuk mencegah komplikasi kardiovaskular. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui ketepatan penggunaan obat antihipertensi pada pasien rawat jalan di RSUD Ciamis periode Januari–Juni 2025 berdasarkan pedoman InaSH 2024 dan AHA/ACC 2025. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif observasional retrospektif dengan sampel 149 pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan seluruh pasien menggunakan amlodipin sebagai monoterapi. Ketepatan indikasi, tepat obat, dan tepat dosis mencapai 100%, sedangkan tepat pasien tidak dapat dievaluasi karena keterbatasan data klinis rekam medis.
