Abstract

Abstrak Luka bakar memerlukan penanganan yang tepat untuk mempercepat proses penyembuhan. Kuersetin memiliki aktivitas antioksidan dan antiinflamasi yang berpotensi mempercepat penyembuhan luka, namun kelarutannya yang rendah membatasi penggunaannya sehingga dikembangkan dalam sistem Self-Nanoemulsifying Drug Delivery System (SNEDDS). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi aktivitas dan efektivitas SNEDDS kuersetin terhadap penyembuhan luka bakar pada tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus L.). Sebanyak 25 ekor tikus dibagi menjadi lima kelompok, yaitu kontrol negatif, kontrol positif (Bioplacenton), serta SNEDDS kuersetin konsentrasi 0,06%, 0,08%, dan 0,1% selama 14 hari. Hasil karakterisasi menunjukkan Formula II memiliki ukuran partikel 193,5±12,7 nm, PDI 0,135±0,013, transmitan 96,78±0,042%, dan waktu emulsifikasi 20,31±0,260 detik. Persentase penyembuhan luka tertinggi diperoleh kontrol positif (22,75%) dan Formula II (21,27%). Uji One Way ANOVA menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antar kelompok (p<0,05), sedangkan uji LSD menunjukkan Formula II tidak berbeda signifikan dengan kontrol positif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, SNEDDS kuersetin konsentrasi 0,08% merupakan formula terbaik dalam mempercepat penyembuhan luka bakar. Kata Kunci : Kuersetin, SNEDDS, luka bakar. Abstract Burn injuries require appropriate treatment to accelerate the healing process. Quercetin possesses antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities that potentially promote wound healing; however, its low aqueous solubility limits its use. Therefore, quercetin was formulated into a SelfNanoemulsifying Drug Delivery System (SNEDDS) to improve its solubility and efficacy. This study aimed to evaluate the activity and effectiveness of quercetin SNEDDS on burn wound healing in white rats (Rattus norvegicus L.). Twenty-five rats were randomly divided into five groups: negative control, positive control (Bioplacenton), and SNEDDS quercetin at concentrations of 0.06%, 0.08%, and 0.1% for 14 days. Characterization results showed that Formula II had a particle size of 193.5±12.7 nm, PDI of 0.135±0.013, transmittance of 96.78±0.042%, and emulsification time of 20.31±0.260 s. The highest percentage of wound healing was observed in the positive control (22.75%) and Formula II (21.27%). One-way ANOVA revealed significant differences among groups (p<0.05), and LSD test showed no significant difference between Formula II and the positive control. Based on these results, SNEDDS quercetin at 0.08% was the most effective formula in accelerating burn wound healing. Keywords : Quercetin, SNEDDS, burn wound.
