Abstract

Identifikasi Telur Cacing Soil Tasmitted Helminth ( STH ) Pada Feses Anak Usia 5 Sampai 10 Tahun di Kampung Cihalisan Desa Nanggewer Keacamatan Pagerageung Kabupaten Tasikmalaya Inggitta Aulia Gustini, Rudy Hidana, M.Pd, Meti Kusmiati, M.Si ( Program Studi D III Analis Kesehatan, Universitas bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya ) Email:Inggittaaulia14@gmail.com Abstrak Infeksi kecacingan merupakan salah satu penyakit dengan prevalensi yang cukup tinggi di banyak negara. Indonesia merupakan negara berkembang dan masih menghadapi berbagai masalah kesehatan, terutama pada anak usia sekolah, kebiasaan bermain di tanah, kurangnya personal hygiene, dan sanitasi lingkungan yang kurang baik meningkatkan risiko infeksi. Jenis telur cacing Soil Trasmitted Helminth ( STH ) antara lain Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris Truchiura, Ancylostoma doudenale. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengindentifikasi keberadaan telur cacing STH pada feses anak usia 5 – 10 tahun di Kampung cihalisan, Desa Nanggewer, Kec. Pagerageung, Kab. Tasikmalaya. Sampel yang di teliti menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan total sampling. Sampel berupa feses dari 20 anak usia 5 – 10 tahun. Pemeriksaan di lakukan dengan metode sedian langsung ( direct slide ) dengan larutan eosin 2% dan di amati secara mikroskopis pada perbesaran 10x dan 40x. Data di sajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan persentase. Hasil penelitian Identifikasi Telur Cacing Soil Tasmitted Helminth ( STH ) Pada Feses Anak Usia 5 Sampai 10 Tahun di Kampung Cihalisan Desa Nanggewer Keacamatan Pagerageung Kabupaten Tasikmalaya diperoleh hasil 20 sampel ( 100% ) tidak ditemukan adanya telur Cacing Soil Tasmitted Helminth ( STH ) pada sampel feses ( hasil negatif ). Kata Kunci: Soil Tasmitted Helminth, feses, anak usia sekolah, metode direct slide Abstract Helminth infections are among the most prevalent infectious diseases in many countries. Indonesia, as a developing country, continues to face various public health problems, particularly among school-aged children. Children's habits of playing on the ground, poor personal hygiene, and inadequate environmental sanitation increase the risk of infection. The main species of Soil-Transmitted Helminths (STH ) include Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichiura, and Ancylostoma duodenale. This study aimed to identify the presence of STH eggs in the feces of children aged 5–10 years in Kampung Cihalisan, Nanggewer Village, Pagerageung District, Tasikmalaya Regency. This research employed a descriptive design using a total sampling technique. The samples consisted of fecal specimens collected from 20 children aged 5–10 years. Fecal examination was performed using the direct smear (direct slide) method with 2% eosin solution and observed microscopically under 10× and 40× magnification. The data were presented in the form of tables and percentages. The results showed that all 20 fecal samples (100%) were negative for STH eggs, indicating that no Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichiura, or Ancylostoma duodenale eggs were detected in the examined samples.
