Abstract

ABSTRAK GAMBARAN EFEK SAMPING PENGGUNAAN ALAT KONTRASEPSI DALAM RAHIM PADA PASANGAN USIA SUBUR Iklima Nurzakiah Dewi ¹, Etty Komariah Sambas ², Soni Hersoni ³ Prodi DIII Keperawatan STIKes Bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya Kontrasepsi adalah salah satu solusi dalam menghadapi laju pertumbuhan penduduk di Indonesia. Penggunaan kontrasepsi didominasi oleh AKDR. Namun demikian, penggunaan kontrasepsi AKDR dapat menimbulkan efek samping yaitu salah satunya perdarahan. Efek penggunaan alat kontrasepsi dalam rahim dapat menyebabkan gangguan kesehatan seseorang baik kesehatan fisik maupun kesehatan psikologis apabila tidak ditangani secara tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi konsep/teori atau hasil-hasil penelitian tentang efek samping penggunaan alat kontrasepsi dalam rahim pada pasangan usia subur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah telaah literatur. Sumber yang digunakan adalah sumber primer dimana sumber tersebut diperoleh dari buku rujukan sebanyak 5 buah dan artikel penelitian yang relevan sebanyak 10 buah dari tahun 2010-2020 yang diperoleh dari google schoolar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa efek samping penggunaan AKDR pada pasangan usia subur meliputi : perdarahan, gangguan siklus haid, nyeri perut saat haid (disminore), keputihan, benang hilang, keluhan saat senggama, menorarghia, dyspareunia, ekspulsi, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) dan menometroragi. Efek samping penggunaan AKDR dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu pendidikan, pekerjaan, usia dan lama pemakaian. Walaupun demikian, tidak semua pasangan usia subur mengalami efek samping yang sama, misalnya komplikasi seperti demam 3-5 hari setelah pemasangan, kejang, perubahan tekanan darah, dan perforasi dinding uterus. Kata kunci : Efek Samping AKDR, Pasangan Usia Subur Abstract Contraception is one of the solutions to deal with the rate of population growth in Indonesia. Contraceptive use is dominated by IUD contraception. However, the use of IUD contraception can cause side effects, one of which is bleeding. The effect of using IUD contraceptives can cause health problems both physical health and psychological health if not handled properly. The purpose of this study was to identify concepts/theories or research results about the side effects of using IUD contraceptives in fertile age couples. Reseach method was literature review. The sources used in the study were the primary sources. They were 5 textbooks and 10 relevant research articles from 2010-2020 which were retrieved from Google Scholar. The results showed that the side effects of IUD use in fertile age couple include: bleeding, menstrual cycle disorders, abdominal pain (dysmenorrhea), vaginal discharge, lost threads, complaints during intercourse, menorrhagia, dyspareunia, expulsion, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) and menometrorrhagia. The side effect of IUD was influenced by several factors, namely education, employment, age, and length of use. However, not all of the fertile age couples experience the same side effects such as fever complications 3-5 days after installation, seizures, changes in blood pressure, and perforation of the uterine wall.
