Abstract

Kepatuhan Penggunaan Obat Antidiabetes Pada Pasien Diabetes Mellitus Prodi DIII Keperawatan STIKes Bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya Abstrak Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan penyakit kronis yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya kadar gula dalam darah melebihi batas normal. Kepatuhan pasien dalam penggunaan obat merupakan salah satu faktor yang menentukan dalam mencapai keberhasilan suatu terapi pada pasien diabetes mellitus (DM). Ketidakpatuhan terhadap penggunaan obat antidiabetes pada pasien DM dapat menyebabkan kadar glukosa dalam darah tidak terkontrol sehingga akan meningkatkan resiko komplikasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi konsep/teori atau hasil-hasil penelitian tentang kepatuhan penggunaan obat antidiabetes pada pasien DM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah telaah literatur. Sumber yang digunakan adalah sumber primer dimana diperoleh sumber tersebut diperoleh artikel yang releven sebanyak 10 buah dari tahun 2010-2020 yang diperoleh dari sumber elektronik/internet seperti google scrolar dan aplikasi medeley. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan penggunaan obat antidiabetes diantaranya meliputi: usia, pendidikan, status sosial dan ekonomi, regimen terapi, pengetahuan pasien tentang penyakit, pengetahuan pasien tentang obat dan interaksi pasien dengan tenaga kesehatan. Penyebab ketidakpatuhan meliputi 3 faktor yaitu faktor predisposisi (faktor penguat), faktor reinforcing (faktor penguat), dan faktor enabling (faktor pemungkin). Faktor predisposisi meliputi kepercayaan agama yang dianut, faktor geologi (lingkungan) dan faktor individu itu sendiri. Kemudian faktor reinforcing meliputi dukungan petugas kesehatan, dukungan keluarga dan faktor enabling berupa penyuluhan terhadap penderita yang diharapkan dapat lebih mendorong kepatuhan penderitanya. Kata Kunci: Kepatuhan, Obat Antidiabetes Abstract Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease characterized by an increase in blood sugar levels that exceeds normal limits. Patient compliance in the use of drugs is one of the determining factors in achieving the success of a therapy in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM). Non-compliance with the use of antidiabetic drugs in DM patients can cause blood glucose levels to be uncontrolled so that it will increase the risk of complications. The purpose of this study is to identify concepts / theories or research results regarding compliance with the use of antidiabetic drugs in DM patients. The research method used is a literature review. The source used is the primary source from which the source was obtained as many as 10 articles released from 2010-2020 obtained from electronic / internet sources such as Google Scrolar and Medeley applications. The results showed that there were several factors that influenced the adherence to the use of antidiabetic drugs including: age, education, social and economic status, therapeutic regimens, patient's knowledge of the disease, patient's knowledge of the drug and patient interactions with health professionals. The causes of non-compliance include 3 factors, namely predisposing factors (reinforcing factors), reinforcing factors (reinforcing factors), and enabling factors (enabling factors). Predisposing factors include religious beliefs adopted, geological factors (environment) and individual factors themselves. Then reinforcing factors include the support of health workers, family support and enabling factors in the form of counseling for patients who are expected to further encourage compliance of sufferers.
