Abstract

ABSTRAK STUDI LITERATUR GAMBARAN KONTAMINASI TELUR CACING SOIL TRANSMITTED HELMINTHS (STH) PADA SAYUR KUBIS (Brassica oleracea) Oleh : Santia Bela Sulastri 20117086 Kontaminasi telur cacing di Indonesia masih banyak ditemukan terutama pada golongan Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH). Sayuran kubis (Brassica oleracea) merupakan media penularan telur cacing Soil Transmitted Helminths ke manusia. Infeksi STH terjadi dari tanah yang terkontaminasi telur cacing dan dapat melekat pada sayuran yang ditanam di tanah. Proses pengolahan dan pencucian sayuran mentah terutama sayur kubis yang kurang baik mempermudah adanya transisi telur cacing ke manusia. Penulisan ini bertujuan mengetahui ada tidaknya telur cacing Soil Trasmitted Helminths (STH) dan jenis telur cacing Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH) yang mengkontaminasi sayuran kubis (Brassica oleracea). Metode penulisan menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan mengkaji 14 data yang didapatkan dari jurnal, artikel maupun karya tulis ilmiah yang disajikan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian dari 14 data yang diperoleh terdapat 10 data (71%) yang menyatakan bahwa adanya kontaminasi telur STH pada sayur kubis dan 4 data (29%) yang menyatakan tidak ditemukan kontaminasi telur STH pada sayur kubis. Dari 10 data yang terkontaminasi ditemukan jenis telur cacing golongan STH pada sayur kubis (Brassica oleracea) yaitu Ascaris lumbricoides sebanyak 48 telur cacing (72%), Trichuris trichiura sebanyak 17 telur cacing (25%) Anclostoma duodenale, Necator americanus sebanyak 2 telur cacing (3%). Sedangkan untuk jenis telur cacing Strongyloides stercolaris tidak ditemukan. Dari hasil yang didapat lebih banyak sayur kubis yang terkontaminasi oleh jenis telur cacing Ascaris lumbricoides. Upaya untuk mencegah adanya kontaminasi telur cacing dengan cara sayur kubis dipotong-potong dengan ukuran kecil perhelai dan dicuci dengan air yang mengalir. Kata kunci : Kontaminasi cacing, Soil Transmitted Helminths, Sayuran Kubis Abstarck Worm egg contamination in Indonesia is still commonly found, especially in the Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH) group. Cabbage vegetables (Brassica oleracea) is a medium for transmitting worm eggs from Transmitted Helminths to humans. STH infections occurs from soil contaminated with worm eggs and can be attached to vegetables grown in the soil. The processing and washing of raw vegetables, especially cabbage vegetables that are not good, facilitates the transition of worm eggs to humans. The purpose of this writing is to determine the presence or absence of Soil Trasmitted Helminths (STH) worms and Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH) worm eggs that contaminate cabbage (Brassica oleracea) vegetables. The writing method uses the literature study method by reviewing 14 data obtained from journals, articles and scientific papers presented descriptively. The results of the study from 14 data obtained there are 10 data (71%) which states that there is STH egg contamination in cabbage vegetables and 4 data (29%) which states no STH egg contamination in cabbage vegetables. From 10 contaminated data found STH type of worm eggs in cabbage (Brassica oleracea) namely Ascaris lumbricoides as many as 48 worm eggs (72%), Trichuris trichiura as many as 17 worm eggs (25%) Anclostoma duodenale, Necator americanus as many as 48 worm eggs (72%), Trichuris trichiura as many as 17 worm eggs (25%) Anclostoma duodenale, Necator americanus as many as 2 worm eggs (72%) 3%). Whereas the type of Strongyloides stercolaris worm egg was not found. From the results obtained more cabbage vegetables contaminated by Ascaris lumbricoides worm eggs. Efforts to prevent contamination of worm eggs by means of cabbage vegetables are cut into small pieces of soybeans and washed with running water.
