Abstract

Luka diabetes yaitu luka terbuka pada permukaan kulit dimana gula darah yang tinggi merupakan salah satu faktor penyebab terjadinya infeksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh patch kombinasi minyak atsiri daun kirinyuh (Chromolaena odorata L.) dengan curcumin terhadap penyembuhan luka tikus diabetes. Hewan uji dibagi menjadi tujuh kelompok yaitu kelompok normal, negatif, positif, Dosis Uji 1, Dosis Uji 2, Dosis Uji 3, dan Dosis Uji 4. Induksi diabetes pada tikus dilakukan dengan menggunakan aloksan 150 mg/kgBB secara intraperitonial. Pembuatan luka dilakukan pada bagian punggung tikus dengan panjang luka sebesar 2 cm. Hasil uji menunjukkan sediaan patch kombinasi minyak atsiri daun kirinyuh dengan curcumin dapat menyembuhkan luka kelompok tikus diabetes dimana persentase penyembuhan luka mencapi 100% untuk Dosis Uji 1 terjadi pada hari ke-14, Dosis Uji 2 terjadi pada hari ke-12, Dosis Uji 3 penyembuhan luka terjadi pada hari ke-10 dan Dosis Uji 4 terjadi pada hari ke-14. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian sediaan patch kombinasi minyak atsiri daun kirinyuh dengan curcumin dapat menyembuhkan luka pada tikus diabetes. Kata Kunci : Curcumin; Kirinyuh; Luka Diabetes; Patch ABSTRACT Diabetic wounds are open wounds on the surface of the skin where high blood sugar is one of the factors causing infection. This study aimed to determine the effect of the combination patch of kirinyuh leaf essential oil (Chromolaena odorata L.) with curcumin against wound healing of diabetic rats. The test animals were divided into seven groups, namely normal, negative, positive, Test Dose 1, Test Dose 2, Test Dose 3, and Test Dose 4. Induction of diabetes in rats was carried out using an alloxane of 150 mg / kgBB intraperitonially. The creation of wounds is carried out on the back of the rat with a wound length of 2 cm. The test results showed that the preparation of a combination patch of kirinyuh leaf essential oil with curcumin can heal the wounds of the diabetic rat group where the percentage of wound healing reached 100% for Test Dose 1 occurred on the 14th day, Test Dose 2 occurred on the 12th day, Test Dose 3 wound healing occurred on the 10th day and Test Dose 4 occurred on the 14th day. It can be concluded that the administration of a patch preparation of the combination of essential oil of kirinyuh leaves with curcumin can heal wounds in diabetic rats.
