Abstract

ABSTRAK Gambaran Kadar Kolesterol Pada Pengguna Alat Kontrasepsi Implan Ai Siska Amelia1, Rianti Nurpalah M,Si1, Meti Kusmiati M,Si1 Program Studi DIII analis kesehatan, Universitas Bakti Tunas Husada Abstrak Pemerintah Indonesia menerapkan program Keluarga Berencana dengan tujuan untuk menekan laju pertumbuhan penduduk. Salah satu metode pencegahan kehamilan hormonal yang dipakai oleh wanita Indonesia adalah kontrasepsi implan. Efek samping yang berdampak pada wanita pengguna kontrasepsi implan adalah menstruasi tidak teratur, kenaikan berat badan dan kenaikan kadar kolesterol. Kolesterol merupakan zat alami yang diproduksi melalui metabolisme lemak di dalam tubuh yang digunakan untuk membangun jaringan dan sel, menghasikan berbagai hormon dan berperan dalam sistem pencernaan. Pada wanita yang menggunakan kontrasepsi implan, kadar kolesterol dipengaruhi oleh hormonal, seperti hormon progesteron yang menghasilkan timbunan kolesterol dalam darah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kadar kolesterol pada wanita yang menggunakan alat kontrasepsi implan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif untuk mengetahui bagaimana kadar kolesterol pada wanita tersebut. Purposive random sampling adalah metode pengambilan sampel di mana peneliti memilih sampel berdasarkan karakteristik dan pertimbangan. Kadar kolesterol normal menurut peneitian yang dilakukan sebanyak 23% dan kadar kolesterol tinggi sebanyak 77%, dapat dibuat kesimpulan bahwa pengguna kontrasepsi hormonal implan di Puskesmas Karangnunggal mayoritas tingkat kolesterolnya tinggi. One of the hormonal contraceptives used in Indonesia by females is implant contraception. The primary adverse consequences that affect females who use implant contraceptives are irregular menstruation, weight gain and other side effects such as increased cholesterol levels. Cholesterol is a natural substance that is produced through fat metabolism in the body. It is used to build tissues and cells, destroy various hormones and play a role in the digestive system. In women who use implant contraception, cholesterol levels are affected by hormones, such as the hormone progesterone that produces a stack of cholesterol in the blood. The aim of this study is to look at a picture of cholesterol levels in women who use implant contraceptives. The approach taken in this study is a descriptive method, to find a picture of cholesterol levels in women who use implant contraceptives. The sample-taking technique used is purposive random sampling, where samples are determined by researchers determined by the features and factors of samples. From the studies that have been conducted to obtain results of normal cholesterol levels of 23% and high cholesterol level of 77%, it can be concluded that users of hormonal contraceptive implants in Puskesmas Karangnunggal mostly have high levels of cholesterol.
