Abstract

ABSTRAK Ghifar Alfarizi 40117011 Pogram Studi Refraksi Optisi STIKes Bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya ABSTRAK Lensa kontak merupakan alat bantu penglihatan agar kita dapat melihat tanpa menggunakan kacamata. Kurangnya pengetahuan pengguna lensa kontak dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif pada mata. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan penggunaan lensa kontak, sedangkan metode dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional study yang dilakukan pada mahasiswa Prodi S1 Farmasi STIKes BTH Tasikmalaya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden pada indikator kebersihan lensa kontak termasuk kedalam kriteria interpretasi kurang ( < 55% ), indikator penyimpanan lensa kontak termasuk kedalam kriteria interpretasi cukup ( 56% - 75% ), indikator penggunaan lensa kontak termasuk kedalam kriteria interpretasi kurang ( < 55% ), indikator perawatan lensa kontak termasuk kedalam kriteria interpretasi kurang ( < 55% ) dan pada indikator dampak penggunaan lensa kontak termasuk kedalam kriteria interpretasi kurang ( < 55%). Kesimpulannya bahwa mahasiswa Prodi Farmasi STIKes BTH Tasikmalaya dalam tingkat pengetahuan tentang kebersihan, penggunaan, perawatan, dan dampak penggunaan lensa kontak diinterpretasikan kedalam pengetahuan kurang, sedangkan pada indikator penyimpanan lensa kontak responden memiliki interpretasi cukup. Kata Kunci : Pengetahuan Penggunaan Lensa Kontak. ABSTRACT Contact lenses are visual aids so that we can see without using glasses. Lack of knowledge of contact lens wearers can have a negative impact on the eyes. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the knowledge of contact lens use, while the method in this study was quantitative descriptive with a cross sectional study design study conducted on students of Pharmacy Study Program STIKes BTH Tasikmalaya. Based on the results of the study showed that most of the respondents on the indicator of contact lens hygiene included in the criteria of lack of interpretation (<55%), indicators of storage of contact lenses included in the criteria of adequate interpretation (56% - 75%), indicators of contact lens use included in the criteria of interpretation of less (<55%), indicators of contact lens care are included in the criteria for under-interpretation (<55%) and indicators for the impact of contact lens use are included in the criteria for under-interpretation (<55%). The conclusion is that Pharmacy students of the STIKes BTH Tasikmalaya Study Program in the level of knowledge about cleanliness, use, care, and the impact of contact lens use are interpreted into less knowledge, while the respondents' contact lens storage indicators have sufficient interpretation.
