Abstract

THE EFFECT OF BABY MASSAGE ON NORMAL NEWBORN Afli Muflihah Walistiyan1, Etty Komariah Sambas2, Soni Hersoni3 Program Studi DIII Keperawatan, STIKes Bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya Jl. Cilolohan Nomor 36 Tasikmalaya email : aflimuflihah12@gmail.com ABSTRACT Babies have needs that must be fulfilled by parents from birth, namely physical, biological, and emotional needs. These three basic needs can be met by means of massage. Massage is useful for stimulating all the work of the sensory and motor systems so that babies can grow and develop optimally. The purpose of this study was to determine the theoretical concept or research results about the effect of baby massage on newborns. This research method was a literature review. Used Google Scholar, National Library, Garuda. Collecting data from primary data with a total of 20 research articles which match the inclusion criteria. The articles were published in 2011-2020. The results of the study showed that there were 15 research articles discussing the effect of baby massage on newborns growth, 1 articles discussing the effect of baby massage on the ability to breastfeed., and 4 articles discussing the effect of baby massage on newborns sleep quality. Conclusion: Baby massage on newborns has an effect to increase the growth, the ability to breastfeed, and the quality of sleep of newborns. Keywords: newborn, baby massage. Bayi memiliki kebutuhan yang harus dipenuhi orang tua sejak lahir, yaitu kebutuhan fisik, biologis, serta kebutuhan emosi. Ketiga kebutuhan mendasar tersebut dapat dipenuhi dengan cara pemijatan. Pemijatan itu berguna untuk merangsang semua kerja sistem sensorik dan motorik sehingga bayi bisa tumbuh dan berkembang secara optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui konsep teori atau hasil-hasil penelitian tentang pengaruh pijat bayi pada bayi baru lahir. Metode penelitian ini adalah review literatur atau tinjauan pustaka. Sumber data base untuk menelusuri hasil penelitian yang relevan dengan penelitian ini menggunakan Google Scholar, Perpustakaan Nasional, Garuda. Pengumpulan data dari data primer dengan jumlah 20 buah artikel penelitian yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Publikasi artikel dari tahun 2011-2020. Hasil penelitian yaitu terdapat 15 artikel penelitian yang membahas tentang pengaruh pijat bayi pada bayi baru lahir terhadap pertumbuhan bayi baru lahir, 1 artikel membahas pengaruh pijat bayi pada bayi baru lahir terhadap kemampuan menyusu bayi baru lahir dan 4 artikel membahas pengaruh pijat bayi pada bayi baru lahir terhadap kualitas tidur bayi baru lahir. Kesimpulan : Pijat bayi pada bayi baru lahir berpengaruh intuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan kemampuan menyusu, dan kualitas tidur bayi baru lahir. Kata Kunci : bayi baru lahir, pijat bayi
