Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kampung Cicau Kecamatan Kawalu Kota Tasikmalaya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui aspek etnobotani pemanfaatan tumbuhan obat dan pengetahuan tumbuhan obat oleh masyarakat sekitar Kampung Cicau. Sedangkan manfaat penelitian ini untuk memberikan informasi mengenai jenis-jenis tumbuhan yang dapat digunakan sebagai obat tradisional dengan cara mengolah tumbuhan tersebut untuk pengobatan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan merupakan jenis penelitian bersifat deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan wawancara masyarakat di Kampung Cicau mengenal 48 spesies tumbuhan obat yang termasuk ke dalam 27 famili yang digunakan sebagai obat dari 45 informan, dengan prevalensi 77,58%. Bagian tumbuhan yang paling banyak digunakan yaitu daun, dengan pengolahan dan penggunaan tumbuhan obat terbanyak yaitu dengan cara direbus dan diminum. Kata kunci: Etnobotani, Kampung Cicau, Tumbuhan Obat ABSTRACT This research was conducted in Cicau Village, Kawalu District, Tasikmalaya City. The purpose of this study was to determine the ethnobotanical aspects of the use of medicinal plants and knowledge of medicinal plants by the community around Cicau Village. While the benefit of this research is to provide information about the types of plants that can be used as traditional medicine by processing these plants for treatment. The type of research used is a type of research that is descriptive with qualitative methods. Based on the results of research and interviews, the community in Cicau Village recognized 48 species of medicinal plants belonging to 27 families used as medicine from 45 informants, with a prevalence of 77.58%.
