ABSTRAK PENGEMBANGAN POTENSI MINYAK ATSIRI DAUN KIRINYUH (Chromolaena odorata L.) DALAM SEDIAAN GEL TERHADAP EFEKTIVITAS PENYEMBUHAN LUKA SAYAT PADA TIKUS PUTIH JANTAN GALUR WISTAR Fery Ariansyah Program Studi S-1 Farmasi, STIKes Bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya Abstrak Luka adalah kerusakan kontinuitas kulit, mukosa membran, tulang atau organ tubuh lain. Luka terjadi karena proses patologis yang dapat berasal dari dalam maupun luar yang mengenai organ tertentu. Chromolaena odorata L. atau yang sering dikenal dengan kirinyuh ini memiliki efek farmakologi yang luas yaitu memiliki efek penyembuhan luka, antibakteri, antifungi, anti-inflamasi, antikanker, dan lain-lain. Minyak atsiri daun memiliki komposisi senyawa kimia yang bervariasi tergantung pada lokasi geografis. Keuntungan sediaan gel dibandingkan sediaan topikal yang lain adalah mudah merata jika dioleskan pada kulit tanpa penekanan, memberi sensasi dingin, tidak menimbulkan bekas dikulit, dan mudah digunakan. Maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas dan efektivitas sediaan gel minyak atsiri daun kirinyuh (Chromolaena odorata L.) sebagai penyembuh luka sayat pada tikus jantan galur wistar. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengujian sediaan gel minyak atsiri daun kirinyuh dengan Povidone Iodine 10% sebagai kontrol positif. Lalu dilanjutkan dengan analisis statistik One Way ANOVA dan Uji LSD dan didapat bahwa sediaan gel dengan konsentrasi 0,6g/50g memiliki aktivitas dan efektivitas yang lebih baik daripada kontrol positif. Kata kunci: Minyak Atsiri, Kirinyuh, Gel, Luka, One Way ANOVA. Abstract Wounds are damage to the continuity of the skin, mucosa membranes, bones or other organs of the body. Wounds occur due to pathological processes that can originate from inside or outside that hit a particular organ. Chromolaena odorata L. or commonly known as kirinyuh has a broad pharmacological effect that has wound healing effects, antibacterial, antifungi, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, and others. Leaf essential oils have a chemical compound composition that varies depending on geographical location. The advantages of gel preparations compared to other topical preparations are that they are easily evenly applied to the skin without emphasis, give a cool sensation, do not cause skin marks, and are easy to use. So the purpose of this study is to find out the activity and effectiveness of essential oil preparations kirinyuh leaf (Chromolaena odorata L.) as an healer of cuts in male rat strain wistar. In this study, the preparation of daunnyuh leaf essential oil gel was tested with Povidone Iodine 10% as a positive control. Then continued with statistical analysis of One Way ANOVA and LSD Test and it was found that gel preparations with a concentration of 0.6g/50g have better activity and effectiveness than positive control.
