Abstract

ABSTRAK PEMERIKSAAN Staphylococcus sp PADA TESTER BEDAK PADAT DAN LIPSTIK CAIR DI TOKO X KOTA TASIKMALAYA Mutia Zulfa Lauza’iah Gunawan, Rudy Hidana dan Korry Novitriani. (Program Studi D-III Analis Kesehatan TLM, Universitas Bakti Tunas Husada Kota Tasikmalaya) Abstrak Kontaminasi bakteri mudah terjadi pada produk kosmetik yang telah dibuka segelnya, produk kosmetik dapat terpapar kontaminasi bakteri secara terus menerus karena faktor lingkungan yaitu seperti udara dan kontak fisik secara langsung dengan kulit konsumen. Kosmetika atau tata rias wajah juga mengandung mineral esesnsial yaitu dapat menjadi faktor untuk pertumbuhan, senyawa organik dan anorganik serta kelembapan di dalamnya dapat menjadi kondisi yang sesuai untuk pertumbuhan bakteri.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keberadaan Staphylococcus sp pada tester bedak padat dan lipstik cair. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif yaitu mengumpulkan data untuk menguji dugaan atau hipotesis. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dan Staphylococcus epidermidis dalam sampel lipstik cair dengan kode L3, hasil tersebut dilihat dari karakteristik koloni, pewarnaan gram dan uji katalase. Kata Kunci : Staphylococcus sp, terster bedak padat dan lipstik cair. Abstrac Bacterial contamination easily occurs in cosmetic products that have been opened. Cosmetic products can be continuously exposed to bacterial contamination due to environmental factors such as air and direct physical contact with the consumer's skin. Cosmetics or facial make-up also contain essential minerals which can be a factor for growth, organic and inorganic compounds and the moisture in them can be suitable conditions for bacterial growth. The aim of this research is to determine the presence of Staphylococcus sp on solid powder and liquid lipstick testers. The method used is descriptive, namely collecting data to test conjectures or hypotheses. From the research results it was found that the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermids in the liquid lipstick sample with code L3, these results were seen from colony characteristics, gram staining and catalase test.
