Abstract

Gambaran Kadar Kreatinin Pada Pengonsumsi Minuman Suplemen Berenergi Di Kota Tasikmalaya Dadang Suherman (Program Studi D-III Analis Kesehatan Universitas Bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya) Abstrak Minuman Suplemen berenergi didefinisikan sebagai minuman komersial yang dijual bebas dengan kandungan kafein tinggi sebagai penambah energi serta kewaspadaan mental dan kinerja fisik. Minuman Suplemen Berenergi mengandung pemanis, vitamin, stimulan, kafein, taurin dan berbagai bahan zat tambahan lainnya. Taurin turut berperan dalam merusak organ ginjal. Taurin merupakan asam amino detoksifikasi yang memberikan efek seperti glisin dalam menetralkan semua jenis toksin. Mengonsumsi minuman berenergi instan jika dikonsumsi secara berlebih dalam jangka waktu yang lama maka akan muncul kerugian-kerugian seperti rusaknya hepar, organ ginjal, dan gangguan organik lainya. Untuk fungsi ginjal dapat dilakukan pemeriksaan kadar kretainin yang merupakan parameter untuk mengetahui fungsi ginjal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar kreatinin pada pengonsumsi minuman suplemen berenergi di wilayah Kota Tasikmalaya. Metode penelitian ini berupa deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang melibatkan 20 responden diperoleh secara purposive sampling. Metode pemeriksaan yang digunakan metode Tes Kolorimetrik enzimatik dengan pembacaan secara kolorimetri pada alat fotometer WP-9200. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 95% (19 orang) memiliki kadar kreatinin normal dan 5% (1 orang) memiliki kadar kreatinin tinggi, Dapat disimpulkan kadar kreatinin pada pengonsumsi minuman suplemen berenergi didominasi oleh hasil yang normal. Abstract Energy supplement drinks are defined as commercial drinks that are sold freely with high caffeine content to increase energy as well as mental alertness and physical performance. Energy Supplement Drinks contain sweeteners, vitamins, stimulants, caffeine, taurine and various other additives. Taurine also plays a role in damaging the kidney organs. Taurine is a detoxifying amino acid that has a glycine-like effect in neutralizing all types of toxins. Consuming instant energy drinks, if consumed excessively over a long period of time, will cause harm such as damage to the liver, kidneys and other organic disorders. For kidney function, creatinine levels can be checked, which is a parameter to determine kidney function. This study aims to determine the description of creatinine levels in consumers of energy supplement drinks in the Tasikmalaya City area. This research method is descriptive with a quantitative approach involving 20 respondents obtained by purposive sampling. The examination method used is the enzymatic colorimetric test method with colorimetric reading on a WP-9200 photometer. The research results showed that 95% (19 people) had normal creatinine levels and 5% (1 person) had high creatinine levels. It can be concluded that creatinine levels in energy supplement drink consumers were dominated by normal results. Keywords: Energy Supplement Drink, Creatinine, Taurine.
