Abstract

Tuberkulosis adalah penyakit menular infeksi yang disebabkan oleh agen infeksi bakteri patogen umum Mycobacterium tuberkulosis yang menyerang paru-paru manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran kasus tuberkulosis dengan metode tes cepat molekuler di UPTD Khusus RSUD dr. Soekardjo Kota Tasikmalaya berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan usia. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang menggunakan pengumpulan data primer serta sekunder sebagai rujukan dalam pengolahan data pada periode Januari 2023 s/d April 2024. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapatkan bahwa berdasarkan banyak sampel sputum yang didapat sebanyak 4245. Hasil berdasarkan Jenis kelamin yang paling tinggi kasus tuberkulosis yaitu laki laki dibandingkan dengan perempuan. Sedangkan menurut rentang usia urutan kasus tuberkulosis dari tertinggi sampai terendah adalah dewasa, lansia, remaja, anak-anak, dan balita. Kata Kunci : Mycobacterium tuberkulosis, Tuberkulosis, TCM Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by the common pathogenic bacterial infection Mycobacterium tuberculosis which attacks the human lungs. The aim of this research is to find out the description of tuberculosis cases using the molecular rapid test method at the Special UPTD of RSUD dr. Soekardjo Tasikmalaya City based on gender and age. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach that uses primary and secondary data collection as a reference in data processing in the period January 2023 to April 2024. The results of this research show that based on the number of sputum samples obtained, there were 4245. The results are based on The gender with the highest incidence of tuberculosis is men compared to women. Meanwhile, according to the age range, the order of tuberculosis cases from highest to lowest is adults, elderly, teenagers, children and toddlers.
