Abstract

PROGRAM SI FARMASI FAKULTAS FARMASI UNIVERSITAS BAKTI TUNAS HUSADA TASIKMALAYA Skripsi, Juli 2024 Intan sasila Senyawa flavonoid merupakan metabolit sekunder yang terdapat dalam tumbuhan, salah satunya termasuk pada tumbuhan kupa (Syzygium polycephalum). Terdapat korelasi antara bobot jenis dengan senyawa flavonoid total. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh bobot jenis terhadap kadar flavonoid total. Simplisia di ekstraksi dengan pelarut etanol menggunakan metode refluks. Penentuan bobot jenis dilakukan menggunakan piknometer. Analisis kualitatif dilakukan dengan kromatografi lapis tipis, fase gerak yang digunakan adalah n-heksan, kloroform, metanol (1,5: 8: 0,5), fase diam silika gel GF254, dan penampak bercak sitroborat. Penetapan kadar flavonoid total dilakukan menggunakan spektrofotmetri UV-Vis, pada panjang gelombang 415 nm, dengan pembanding kuersetin. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ekstrak etanol 1% daun, batang, buah, biji tumbuhan kupa menghasilkan kadar flavonoid total sebesar 15,333±1,103; 13,718±0,507; 2,835±0,288; 10,711±0,712 mgQE/100g. Variasi konsentrasi ekstrak menghasilkan bobot jenis yang berbeda-beda sebesar 0,793±0,000; 0,791±0,000; 0,791±0,000; 0,787±0,000; 0,798±0,000; 0,792±0,001; 0,793±0,001; 0,791±0,0000 g/mL. Dan menghasilkan kadar flavonoid total yang berbeda-beda juga sebesar 0,184±0,010; 0,124±0,009; 0,113±0,003; 0,018±0,001; 0,044±0,001; 0,031±0,000; 0,099±0,023; 0,069±0,002 mgQE/100g. kadar flavonoid total pada ekstrak etanol beberapa bagian tumbuhan kupa memiliki hasil yang bervariasi, dengan kadar flavonoid paling tinggi terdapat pada bagian ekstrak daun. Nilai Bobot jenis pada tumbuhan kupa dapat mempengaruhi nilai kadar flavonoid total. Kata Kunci: Bobot Jenis, Flavonoid, Syzygium polycephalum. Flavonoid compounds are secondary metabolites found in plants, one of which includes the kupa plant (Syzygium polycephalum). There is a correlation between specific gravity and total flavonoid compounds. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of specific gravity on total flavonoid levels. Simplicia was extracted with ethanol solvent using the reflux method. Determination of specific gravity is carried out using a pycnometer. Qualitative analysis was carried out using thin layer chromatography, the mobile phases used were n-hexane, chloroform, methanol (1.5: 8: 0.5), silica gel GF254 stationary phase, and citroborate spotting. Determination of total flavonoid levels was carried out using UV-Vis spectrophotometry, at a wavelength of 415 nm, with quercetin as a comparison. The research results showed that 1% ethanol extract of leaves, stems, fruit and seeds of kupa plants produced total flavonoid levels of 15.333 ± 1.103, 13.718 ± 0.507, 2.835 ± 0.288, 10.711 ± 0.712 mgQE/100g. The highest total flavonoid levels were found in the leaf extract at 15,333 ± 1,103 mgQE/100g. Varying extract concentrations produced different specific gravity of 0.793 ± 0.000, 0.791 ± 0.000, 0.791 ± 0.000, 0.787 ± 0.000, 0.798 ± 0.000, 0.792 ± 0.001, 0.793 ± 0.001, 0.791 ± 0.0000 g/mL. And produced different total flavonoid levels of 0.184 ± 0.010, 0.124 ± 0.009, 0.113 ± 0.003, 0.018 ± 0.001, 0.044 ± 0.001, 0.031 ± 0.000, 0.099 ± 0.023, 0.069 ± 0.002 mgQE/10 0g. The total flavonoid levels in the ethanol extract of several parts of the kupa plant had varying results, with the highest flavonoid levels found in the leaf extract. The specific gravity value of kupa plants can influence the value of total flavonoid levels. Keywords: Specific Gravity, Flavonoids, Syzygium polycephalum.
