Abstract
ABSTRACT Syabila Ayu Safitri. 2024. "Implementation of Health Education on Long-Term Contraceptive Methods for Pregnant Women in the Third Trimester in the Working Area of the Kahuripan Tasikmalaya Community Health Center." Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health, Bakti Tunas Husada University, Tasikmalaya. Under the guidance of Hj. Enok Nurliawati, SKp, M.Kep and Ns. Soni Hersoni.S.Sos., M.Kep. This study aims to determine the subject's response before and after being given health education about MKJP to pregnant women in the third trimester in the Kahuripan Tasikmalaya Community Health Center working area. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. The population of third trimester pregnant women in the working area of the Kahuripan Tasikmalaya Health Center is 2 people. Data collection techniques in this research used interview and observation techniques. The results of the study showed that there were similarities in that the two subjects were pregnant women in the third trimester, both of whom had never received education regarding long-term contraceptive methods. This research was conducted on subjects who had different identities, had the same age, different education but had the same job, the same source of information, namely family, different environments, and different pregnancy experiences. The response obtained from this research was a change in the level of knowledge about Long-Term Contraceptive Methods in both subjects including changes in perceptions of both subjects and also decreased questions about contraceptive methods. Keywords: Health Education, Long Term Contraception Methods, Third Trimester Pregnant Women.
