Abstract

ABSTRAK Formulasi dan Evaluasi Sediaan Gel Fitosom Ekstrak Akar Gobo (Arctium lappa L.) Tasya Octavia Program Studi S1 Farmasi, Universitas Bakti Tunas Husada Abstrak Akar gobo (Arctium lappa L.) mengandung senyawa aktif seperti flavonoid dan fenolik, namun sulit menembus kulit karena sifat hidrofiliknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memformulasikan gel fitosom dari ekstrak akar gobo untuk meningkatkan absorpsi topikal. Ekstrak diperoleh dengan maserasi menggunakan etanol 70%. Fitosom dibuat dengan metode dispersi mekanik, kemudian diformulasikan dalam bentuk gel. Evaluasi menunjukkan gel memiliki pH, viskositas, homogenitas, daya sebar, dan daya lekat yang sesuai, serta pelepasan zat aktif yang bertahap pada gel F3. Gel fitosom akar gobo terbukti memenuhi karakteristik sediaan topikal yang baik. Kata kunci: Arctium lappa L, Ekstrak akar gobo, Fitosom, Gel, Formulasi topikal. Abstract Gobo root (Arctium lappa L.) contains active compounds such as flavonoids and phenolics, but it is difficult to absorb the skin due to its hydrophilic nature. This study aims to formulate phytosome gel from gobo root extract to improve topical penetration. The extract was obtained by maceration using 70% ethanol. Phytosomes were prepared by mechanical dispersion method, then formulated in gel form. Evaluation showed that the gel had suitable pH, viscosity, homogeneity, spreadability, and adhesion, as well as gradual release of active substances in gel F3.
