Abstract

UJI DAYA HAMBAT EKSTRAK ETANOL 70% JAMUR LINGZHI (Ganoderma lucidum) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN JAMUR Candida albicans SECARA IN VITRO Asti Alifiya DIII Analis Kesehatan, Universitas Bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya Abstrak Candida albicans merupakan jamur oportunistik yang sering menyebabkan kandidiasis. Penggunaan obat antijamur dalam jangka Panjang dapat menimbulkan efek samping dan berisiko menyebabkan resistensi, sehingga diperlukan alternatif antijamur yang berasal dari bahan alam. Jamur lingzhi (Ganoderma lucidum) diketahui mengandung berbagai metabolit sekunder yang berpotensi memiliki aktivitas antijamur. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji aktivitas antijamur ekstrak etanol 70% jamur lingzhi terhadap Candida albicans. Ekstrak dibuat melalui metode maserasi menggunakan etanol 70% dan diuji dengan metode difusi cakram (Kirby-Bauer) pada konsentrasi 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, dan 100%. Skrining fitokimia pada ekstrak menunjukan adanya kandungan senyawa flavonoid, tanin, saponin, triterpenoid, dan alkaloid. Pengujian aktivitas antijamur menunjukkan terbentuknya zona hambat pada seluruh konsentrasi, yaitu, 10% (7,525 mm), 20% (6,575 mm), 30% (6,150 mm), 40% (7,150 mm), 50% (7,150 mm), 60% (6,025 mm), 70% (6,375 mm), 80% (6,950 mm), 90% (6,025 mm), dan 100% (7,875 mm). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, konsentrasi 100% menghasilkan diameter zona hambat tertinggi sebesar 7,875 mm meskipun aktivitas penghambatannya belum dapat dikategorikan kuat. Kata Kunci: Ganoderma lucidum, Candida albicans, antijamur, difusi cakram, zona hambat. Abstrack Candida albicans is an opportunistic fungus that often causes candidiasis. Long-term use of antifungal drugs can cause side effects and risk causing resistance, necessitating antifungal alternatives derived from natural materials. Lingzhi mushrooms (Ganoderma lucidum) are known to contain various secondary metabolites that potentially have antifungal activity. This study aimed to test the antifungal activity of 70% ethanol extract of lingzhi mushroom against Candida albicans. The extract is made by maseration using 70% ethanol and tested by disc diffusion (Kirby-Bauer) at concentrations of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and 100%. Phytochemical screening of the extract showed the presence of flavonoid compounds, tannins, saponins, triterpenoids, and alkaloids. Testing for antifungal activity showed the formation of a barrier zone at all concentrations, that is, 10% (7,525 mm), 20% (6,575 mm), 30% (6,150 mm), 40% (7,150 mm), 50% (7,150 mm), 60% (6,025 mm), 70% (6,375 mm), 80% (6,950 mm), 90% (6,025 mm), and 100% (7,875 mm). Based on these results, a 100% concentration results in a maximum barrier zone diameter of 7,875 mm although its inhibitory activity cannot yet be categorized as strong.
