Abstract
The purpose of this literature review is to identify the weight gain of pregnant women and the weight of newborn babies. This literature review is carried out by searching for appropriate research articles on the topic through the Google Schoolar database. The search results obtained relevant research articles from 2010 - 2020 as many as 10 pieces. The results showed the lowest maternal weight gain during pregnancy was the highest 6 kg, 21 kg. For newborns the lowest body weight is less than <2500gr, the highest is 4200gr.
